When processing new orders on africanshops.co.uk, failed payments could be for several reasons including but not limited to: Insufficient fund in Payment Card/Method Expired Payment Cards Incorrectly Entering Card details or Billing Information Your bank or financial institute blocks card Please contact your bank in the first instance and escalate any further concern to our customer service for support.

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Except the seller dispatched the item in error, or the shipped item is faulty or broken, the buyer must pay the fees for return shipping.
After completing your refund request and your return is accepted, we will start processing your refund. Once refund notification is sent out to you, please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to surface in your account. For refunds to credit cards, your original charge may not even show on your statement, and you will not see our refund, but the initial charge won't appear either.
We can only transfer your refund to the original payment card or method, and we will not issue refunds to another card, another account, or another payment method. For more information, please review our Return Policy. We advise that you reach out to your bank or financial society for advice with receiving a refund if your original payment card was cancelled, lost, or your financial account was suspended
Orders are eligible for cancellation within 4 hours of placing the order To cancel your order within the first 4 hours, visit your "my account", log in with your user id and passed. Navigate to orders, select the order you want to cancel, and select "Cancel my item."
We are sorry you are unsatisfied with the item purchased on our website. But unfortunately, items can not be exchanged. You can request a return and refund for an item purchased within the guideline in our return policy. An alternative item can be purchased as a separate order.
When your return request is accepted, we will email a return label to your registered email. Please kindly print the shipping label sent to your email. Pack your item safely and with the original packaging where applicable Firmly and visibly attach the shipping label on the top of your package. Visit the post office and send your package or hand over to pick courier if applicable. A refund will be made out to your original payment method after the return package is received. Return labels are for original packaging only. Multiple returns packaging will need multiple labels. To return items separately, please request a return label for each item. Our return policy applies when returning items.
RETURNS: You can withdraw from a purchase at any time between the time of purchase and 14 days of receipt of the item. If purchased items have been shipped before Seller or African Shops receives a cancellation request, you will be responsible for the costs of return shipping. Individual items may have an explicit return policy attached to them when listed. See our return policy. However, please check the return advise by Sellers before you buy it. Please note return Policy by Sellers will override this return policy, provided the Seller return policy was clearly shown on the listed item. If you receive an item that is damaged, not the size or color you ordered, or not rationally consistent with the item listing, you are qualified for a refund. We may request some proof of the issue - typically just a photo or two. You can return any items, except Excluded Items, within 14 days of receiving the item. Excluded Items include perishable items, digitally delivered products or personal health and hygiene products, such as creams, lotions, underwear, and easily contaminated items where the seal has been broken. REFUNDS: - When returns items are successfully delivered and confirmed by Seller to be in the expected return condition, African Shops will return the item purchase cost and the official shipping fees applied when the order was placed. Any charges incurred for a premium or expedited shipping will not be reimbursed. Refunds will be made back to your original payment method used in the original purchase. African Shops can not refund for items paid for using Cash on Delivery. Sellers will handle cash of Delivery refunds, and African Shops have no liability from any conflict arising for purchase made using Cash on Delivery.

Shipping & Order Tracking

If your shipping address has changed or you wish to ship to an alternative location, please update the shipping address in your "my-account" page. To change your shipping address, please follow these steps: Visit "my account" on our website africanshops.co.uk , Login with your user-id and password Click "Addresses" on the left panel Click "Edit" next to Shipping address and update your addresses as required.
Our Sellers operate from a variety of national locations in UK and have stores across the various region. Items will be shipped from the Seller's store location. African Shops UK do not allow Sellers from outside UK.
African Shops endeavour to keep all shipping costs to the barest minimum. The cost varies from items to items and depending on item size, weight, dispatch store location, shipping destination and shipping priority selected. All shipping costs are displayed during checkout and before you complete your order.

Certain listed products could come in a variation of sizes, weight, or colours. Some items cost will automatically as you select the item in different sizes, weight or colours
African Shops does not implicitly collect any payment for custom fees, Government taxes, VAT, currency conversion rates, or any other fees directly from buyers, and cannot refund any extra charges. VAT: Sellers list prices for items. Where an item attracts a VAT, this will be highlighted in the listed item. We do not charge for Value-Added Tax and cannot cover any charges relating to VAT Currency Conversion: Items may be displayed in your local currency; however, the transactions are in UK British Pound Sterling. We use international conversion rates to display the prices to you.
The default payment currency for products on African Shops in British Pounds. African Shops may show costs in your local currency, and this depends on your locality during the time of making purchases on africanshops.co.uk If your debit or credit card is used for payment in foreign currency, most financial institutes like banks and credit providers will permit you to pay, though they may charge a price for using their payment card abroad. Please double-check with your bank to understand if you can make international payments.
africanshops.co.uk accepts various payment methods, ranging from payment cards to Cash on Delivery. Below payment cards are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, and PayPal Our website does not accept Cheque , Cash, bank transfer, or payment instalments. Seller may offer cash on delivery, but we can not refund cash payments made directly to Sellers unless made via our website.
African Shops Money Bank Gurantee only covers payments and transactions made on our website. Cash payments, Bank tranfers and all other types of payment not made via our website - africanshops.co.uk will not be covered by our money back guarantee pledge.

Coupons & Gift Items

Items on africanshops.co.uk are listed by Sellers who provide details for any sales discounts or special offers. African Shops does not guarantee or endorse that the Seller offered or sold the items at a discounted cost.
Save more on your orders by adding your earned coupons codes during checkout. To use your coupon code, please follow these steps: Visit your Cart. At check out, click on the promo code field and type in your coupon code Click "Apply." Your cart will be refreshed to indicate the added discounts. Please note that multiple coupon codes can not be used within the same order.
We may offer rewards on our website in a way to say "Thank You" for supporting merchants on africanshops.co.uk. When you purchase qualifying items, reward points to be credited to your account.
Reward points can be redeemed as Coupons and used towards making future purchases. Just add the redeemed Coupon code to the purchase order at checkout. Coupons applied to discount orders do not lower shipping costs. You need to ensure you can pay for the shipping cost when placing orders using Coupons.
